Farm Walk, Talk and Refreshments

Enjoy a guided walk around the farm followed by coffee, cakes and a talk.

Bespoke packages for those interested in conservation, corncrakes and farming
Every morning at 10.30 am and every afternoon at 3.30 pm.
Choose your own package from the three available options (see below for details)

Option 2: Delicious Refreshments
Option 3: Illustrated Talk

We work on a basis of first come first served so pre-booking essential.

The walk will take place in all weathers – rain, wind, mist, sun or snow so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
It lasts between 15 mins  and 1 hour depending on requirements.

Back at the house there is plenty of space for wet clothing and muddy boots.
Refreshments will be served in the Kitchen with glorious views overlooking the sea and the Outer Hebrides.

The illustrated talk explains the work Waternish Farm is doing to encourage corncrakes and other ground nesting birds to breed successfully.

£10.00 per person

‘Delicious Refreshments’
A cup of coffee/tea with a selection of mini cakes, sorbet and ice-cream.
£10.00 per person

‘Illustrated Talk’
An illustrated talk is available for those wishing to learn more about conservation and corncrakes.
£5.00 per person

Dogs on a lead are permitted on the walk but not in the Farmhouse.
