Waternish Farm is the perfect destination for nature lovers seeking a unique and authentic experience on the Isle of Skye. We look forward to taking you on a journey that you’ll cherish forever.
Our Afternoon Coffee, Cake, Talk and Walk package provides an unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty and tranquillity of Skye’s Northwest Peninsular.
It creates an experience you won’t want to miss. The perfect opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a memorable afternoon in the most picturesque of settings.
Join us on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 3.00 pm to learn how we maintain our wildflower meadows with grazing cattle, and encourage corncrakes and other ground nesting birds to breed successfully.
Our Illustrated Talk and Farm Walk will give you a deeper understanding of the importance of conservation and sustainability and how you can play your part in protecting our environment.
The cost £20.00 per person includes a welcome into the Farmhouse Kitchen by Lucy Montgomery author of Skoldo and Ask Not Why, an illustrated talk on conservation, a guided walk round the Farm, coffee/tea and cake and a chance to relax in the Tea Room.
At Waternish Farm, we’re passionate about creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.
The walk will take place in all weather – rain, wind, mist, sun, or snow, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Once we leave for the walk, the kitchen and tea room will be closed to visitors.
Please note that dogs on a lead are permitted on the walk, but not in the Farmhouse or Tea Room.
